Hi, I'm Kate! I am a boutique wedding + engagement photographer in New England based out of West Greenwich, Rhode Island; though I love to travel (both nationally and internationally!)
A little about me
I was born in Massachusetts, but grew up in Bel Air, Maryland. I attend my first year of college at the University of Rhode Island, where I met my husband, before transferring to Towson University back home in Maryland. For 8 years my husband I dated long distance! We were engaged in 2011 and tied the knot in 2013 in beautiful Southern Maryland. After getting married, I moved to Rhode Island, where my husband was born and raised, and we've been living happily in the Ocean State with our two crazy pups ever since!
In college I pursued a degree in Art with a concentration in Photography as well as a minor in Geography. It combined the two things I love most- photography and traveling! After dabbling in a few different kinds of photography, I truly know I have found my calling in photographing couples' unique love stories.
things i love
my sweet husband, traveling, my two rescue pups, a good cup of coffee, old houses, baking delicious goodies, the changing of seasons, pine forests, rocky coastlines, picnics, ice cream, bright colors, cactus & succulents, ferns (they are so magical!), french macarons, dark beer, Halloween & Newport Folk Fest!
things i've done
studied abroad in Australia, backpacked all of New Zealand, graduated from Towson University with a degree in photography & geography, moved from Maryland to Rhode Island, eaten escargot in France, married the love of my life, had a pet pig named Rudy, swam in some of the bluest waters I've ever seen, laughed so hard I've had tea come out my nose (not a pleasant experience!), dyed my hair hot pink, stood inside a hobbit hole used in the Lord of the Rings/ Hobbit movies, met some amazing people along the way.
