A little over six years ago, I photographed Daisy’s big sister, Riley. Fast forward and I’m photographing both of them together! Little Daisy was so awake during her session, no matter what we did; I guess she’s just a curious little lady and didn’t want to miss a thing! Of course we had to use some daisies for her photos- not only is it indicative of her name, it was also a nod towards her big sister’s newborn photos (you can see a comparison at the end of this post). We also shot with her mama’s wedding veil just like we did with her sister. It was so sweet seeing her in similar outfits and poses!

It’s so special being a part of huge milestones in people’s lives. When Haley reached out to me asking if I could do newborn photos for her and her husband, I didn’t hesitate. Over the years I’ve had the privilege of photographing Haley and Kevin’s engagement photos, engagement party, boudior photos and wedding, so, when they asked me to capture this special new chapter in their lives I was truly honored.
Having my own young children, I know how quickly time moves and how fast their little features change. I love capturing all the tiny details- itty bitty hands, toes, ears- all so small and precious and you’ll be happy to be able to look back on those images and see just how mini they were.
I love a good themed party and a Galentine’s day one is no exception! Give me all the red and pink!
