Family sessions aren’t typically something I do, but I had the opportunity to do some photos for a fellow wedding photographer, Kim. We’ve been in touch online, but had never met in person before and it was so wonderful to finally meet her. She’s so sweet and her family is fantastic! With 4 boys, things certainly stay interesting and entertaining! They were so much fun to watch as they ran around having acorn fights, etc. Too silly!
They chose Waterplace Park as their location and it was perfect- such a fantastic spot for a city session!

There is nothing I love more in fall than going to the apple orchard! It’s such a fun activity to do with your significant other, friends, kids, etc. This year Marshall and I went back to Barden Family Orchard. We’ve been going here for a few years now. It just feels like the quintessential New England orchard and has everything I love about autumn all in one place. Pumpkins, bright leaves, sprawling orchards, stone walls, cider donuts (yum!) and chickens (which I was kind of obsessed with). It was very busy the day we went, but once you got into the orchard we barely saw others and could frolic around uninterrupted, taking our time and taking photos along the way.
It was such a fun day I decided I’d share some photos for our little autumn adventure!

It was truly the most perfect autumn day when I met Andy and Alex for their engagement photos. The skies were blue, the sun was shining and the temperature was cool, but comfortable. Chase Farm in Lincoln was the ideal backdrop for their sweet session.
These two high school sweethearts got engaged over the summer and I am so looking forward to photographing their wedding next year!
Congratulations Alex and Andy!! Can’t wait for the wedding next year!
