Wanderlust: Part II

My travel series part 2.  The world is a vast, vast place and in the long run I have only seen minuscule portions of it.  I hope to add to my list as the years go on because I certainly have the travel bug and the desire to learn more and see more!

Here are just a tiny number (seriously, I took like a bagillion) of images from our trip to France.  I have nothing but great things to say about France, everyone was extremely nice to us, despite my bumbling, butchering of their language (but hey I tried!)  We started in Paris and worked our way through Champagne, Alsace and Burgundy then back up to Paris.  While Paris is fantastic, there is way more to France than just it’s amazing capital city.  I hope to go back one day and see the Brittany and Provence regions, just to name a few.

Wanderlust: Part I

I’m feeling nostalgic for far off places and fantastic adventures.  I have been lucky enough to see some amazing places so far in my life.  More than others, less than some, but either way, it has changed me and given me an appreciation for this amazing planet we call home.

I’m going to do a few blog posts with some snippets of my travels (so far).  Where have you gone and what’s been your favorite destination?   I’d love to know!

Glen Manor House // 6.16.15

I visited Glen Manor House in Portsmouth yesterday to get the lay of the land for Natalie and Dan’s wedding at the end of the month.  Wow, what an absolutely stunning location!  As you drive down the lane you see a beautiful manor house over looking the water and you are instantly transported to another time and place.  As I walked around the interior and exterior I couldn’t help but think of our time in France.  So much of the decor and grounds give the feeling you are at a French Chateau.  It’s lovely, and I can’t wait for this wedding!
