After our initial Skype consultation, I had a feeling Alex and Ali would be a lot of fun to work with. Well, that was totally true! Their engagement session in downtown Providence was a complete blast. I think we were laughing from the very beginning of the session until it got dark out and we had to stop. We started on Westminster Street- complete with shirtless man in a winter hat driving down the road while playing guitar (yes, that seriously happened) and headed to Prospect Terrace Park on the east side for the second half of the shoot. Such a fun couple, I cannot say enough nice things about them. I cannot wait for their Glen Manor wedding next August!

This wedding was a little different for me. James is my brother-in-law and Stacy became my new sister-in-law, so this was a special wedding. They were married on a perfect October day at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The large pine trees and fall foliage made for a stunning ceremony backdrop and the interior, with it’s all white everything and grand chandeliers, was certainly a show stopper!
There is something so sweet about flower girls trying on the bride’s shoes. Seeing them clunk around in shoes fives sizes too large, but feeling like a princess while doing so, is pretty darn adorable. Stacy’s nieces were the epitome of perfect flower girls!
One of the best parts of the reception was the ice cream bar. I’m pretty sure every wedding needs one! So many flavors and toppings galore, you really can’t go wrong. The whole night was filled with laughter, dancing and a special cameo from a certain bridesmaid’s husband during the garter removal- but I’ll just leave that to your imagination haha!
Congratulations Stacy and James!!!

Lauren was a bridesmaid in another wedding I photographed a few years back and I was thrilled when she contacted me for her wedding! She, and four of her bridesmaids, went to Towson University (2 of them in classes with me- yeah, I’m talking about you Rachel and Rachel!) and they all studied photography. Talk about intimidating! She and Mike are awesome and I couldn’t have been more honored to capture their special day.
They are the sweetest couple and you can absolutely tell how much they care for one another by the little things they do. The way Mike touched her arm to comfort her when she was crying after their first look, the vows they shared with one another and the warm glances Mike gave her throughout the day- just so many little things. I left the day feeling overwhelmed with the love they share. Seriously, swoon worthy!
So many adorable DIY touches that Lauren put into the day. From the book page flowers she and her girls carried down the aisle to her folded page book table numbers, everything came together for them.
Congratulations Lauren & Mike!!!
