Summer Wedding at Glen Manor House

Second shooting for Sarah Pudlo Photography & Co. is always a blast, especially for a Glen Manor wedding! Glen Manor is definitely one of my favorite venues in Rhode Island. Every time I’m there it feels like I’ve been transported to a château in Europe somewhere. The grounds are gorgeous and the manor itself has such old world charm! Seriously beautiful!

Check out some of my images/ edits from this lovely wedding!

Thalia

Going back home to Maryland for Christmas and New Years, I knew I wanted to try and shoot some personal work, just for the fun of it.  My good friend, Thalia, whom I met in high school, was always my willing victim when I was in college.  Anytime I needed someone to model for me, she was more than happy to do so.  Fast forward a few years (oh dang, I don’t want to say how long it’s been since college haha!) and she volunteered to be my model again- it was just like old times!  We went to a park near my parents house and frolicked around until we got too cold and needed to retreat to the warmth of the great indoors :-)

It may have been overcast for most of the time, but I’ve always loved the woods in winter so that wasn’t going to stop us.  Winter woods have a sort of spooky whimsy to it, so overcast and a bit rainy seemed fitting!

“I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure in the landscape - the loneliness of it - the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it - the whole story doesn’t show.”

Backyard Newport Wedding

I had the privilege of second shooting for the talented Tiffany Axtmann Photography this past summer at an absolutely gorgeous backyard wedding in downtown Newport.  Backyard weddings always hold a special place in my heart- they are definitely some of my favorites and this one was no exception.  Dreamy pretty much sums up the day!   Here’s some of the shots I took throughout the day with my edits :-)
